This scheme has been introduced by
life insurance corporation of india for baby girl.
Any girl born after march 31
2006  is eligible to get 10000 in her name
after attaining age of 18 she will get this
amount with interest
which approximately will be 100000/-.
Eligible only for those people who hold BPL
(below poverty line) ration cards.

The benefits under the scheme include
health insurance up to Rs.25,000,
scholarship after passing 10th class, Rs.1

lakh payable to nominees in case of
death and Rs.75,000 in case of disability
benefit and Rs.37,500 as partial benefit
and 42,500 in case of natural death.

This scheme has already started in
karnataka,and ready to launch in other states also.
