Maa(Movie Artistes Association) is organising a T-20 cricket match to raise the funds for the Poor artists.Tollywood Trophy T-20 is scheduled for june 13th at Lal Bahadur Stadium in Hyderabad. Teams were selected by the random lottery system at Jayabheri club yesterday.
Film industry members Murali Mohan, Balakrishna, Jayasudha, Nagababu, Ahuti Prasad, Srikanth, Parachuri Gopalakrishna, Kota Srinivasa Rao and others participated in the event.

‘Golimaar’ Completes its Censor

‘A’ for action and Puri Jagannath’s next action flick ‘Golimaar’ with dynamic hero Gopichand has finished its censor rituals and is ready for release.Expressing happiness in a press meet to announce the same, producer Bellamkonda Suresh was happy to see the movie come out smoothly. He added that the music of the movie is a big plus point and everyone seems to like the drunkard song about men. ‘Golimaar’ releases on 27th May. Be prepared for the action!
Similar views were expressed by hero Gopichand. He said the movie will be a blockbuster like Puri Jagannath’s previous hits. When it was the director’s turn, he humbly accepted that the movie was inspired by the real life incidents of encounter specialist Daya Nayak. He added saying Gopichand’s performance is a highlight in the movie along with Roja’s explosive performance.
Roja gave a gist of her character saying she is playing Priya Mani’s mother in ‘Golimaar’ and her role is quite challenging. Priya Mani said she was a big fan of Puri Jagannath and was happy to be part of the movie
Charmy in Srikanth's 'Sevakudu'

Srikanth's ‘Sevakudu’ mainly based on a police officer story.. He had recently completed 100 films as an actor and his 100th film was Krishna Vamsi’s ‘Mahatma’. Apart from ‘Sevakudu’, he’s also acting in a film titled ‘Ranga-The Donga’. Srikanth has already donned a police officer’s role in another Krishna Vamsi’s film ‘Khadgam’. This new film Sevakudu is being directed by V.Samudra and M.Sudhakar is producing the film. Sudhakar had earlier produced two films starring Srikanth and they were ‘Tarakaramudu’ and ‘Manasistha Ra. The latest news is that Charmee is the lead actress in thisfilm ‘Sevakudu’. She has been going through a lull and had moved on to do a Malayalam film. ‘Sevakudu’ is currently being shot in Hyderabad. The film is touted to be an action entertainer. Pradeep Rawat, Ahuti Prasad, Ali, Brahmanandam and Jay Prakash Reddy are playing other roles in this film. Srikanth Deva is composing the music for this film.

Balayya has become arugably the busiest Tollywood star – ‘Simha’.
Recently in an interview Ballaya was exchanging few thoughts about his upcoming films and thrown to dicussion was multi-starrer films in Tollywood. Speaking about doing multi starrer films, Balakrishna said, “Few producers have already asked me and Nagarjuna to act in ‘Gundamma Katha’. But we are looking for strong charcter to suit Suryakantham.”
Expersing apprehensions about miscasting Balakrishna added, “I’ve seen several films that have gone dud at the box office beacause of miscasting and hence we are very cautious about fitting Suryakantham’r role.”
On his views about sharing screen space with young Tollywood heroes, Balayya’s positive rejoined was, “Even Iam open to do movie with Junior NTR. What it needs is a strong story.”
Now when will that happen, particularly considering the busy film itinerary of these two heroes.
